He was a founding member of the aFluxus collective and later founded the creative nucleus Ballet Fractal.
His performances have spanned Brazil, Portugal, France, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.
He has played at notable festivals such as Ressonar Festival, SP na Rua, Vampire Dreams Festival, and Burning Man Online (2020), alongside major collectives and clubs including Mamba Negra, Voodoohop, Sonido Tropico, and BLUM.
Locally in the UAE, his experience includes performing with collectives such as Beat Republic,Soma House Music and Afterlight.
Live Performance Philosophy
On stage, CAYOCAYO approaches performances as open processes. Sets are shaped in real time, exploring percussive textures, synthesizers, and evolving loops.
The project builds on a decade of work previously released and performed under the Helena9999 alias. The transition to CAYOCAYO marks a clearer articulation of the artistic direction.
Each performance is unique, responding directly to the space, the audience, and the context of the event.
The project's music production is rooted in digital synthesis, collage techniques, and deep rhythmic layering, balancing raw energy with complex melodic elements.
